Giuseppe Crime Family

The Giuseppe family is the most powerful in Providence. Having been around for decades before even the formation of the more formal mobs, the family has had a tight control of the Underworld ("allegedly") in Providence for as long as it has existed. Run by the ruthless and powerful Marcello Giuseppe, the family isn't the only one in Providence but is certainly the most powerful.

Marcello's 'boys' are his sub-bosses, many weighing just as much as he. They have a knack for enforcing family security and business, working through an impressive network of thugs, socialites, businessmen, lawyers, and politicians throughout the city. Some of the most well-connected people in Providence, many in a smaller family known as the Crassus-Millner (a third generation Italian immigrant family that intermarried with New England wealth), work for the Giuseppe.

The family regularly hosts huge feasts, where the social elite of Providence show up. The family hosts private dinners as well, rumored to be parties celebrating executions of the prominent enemies of the family.

ST Notes: If you have any criminal or legal ties, you know the Giuseppe and the Crassus-Millner. You probably have worked or defended the former and worked against/for/was defended by the latter.

Marcello Giuseppe: The proverbail godfather of the family, Marcello is rarely seen outside of his mansion. While some believe it is legitimate paranoia for his personal security, the most likely reason is because of his extreme girth. Though he appears light on his feet at family functions, the man's sheer weight must make mobility difficult. Regardless, if encountered, he prefers meeting with business clients in the evening or early morning, never during the day.

Benezio Marcello Giuseppe: Marcello's eldest, Benezio deals mostly with the Crassus-Millner family. The only member of the family who seems to travel regularly outside of Providence, he makes frequent "business" trips to Hartford, Boston, and New York City.

Lucrezia Giuseppe: The middle child, Lucrezia is afforded an extreme amount of freedom by her father. Rumors persist that she often acts as her father's diplomatic arm to other wealthy families in the city but that she also has a bloodthirsty side, often breaking legs for the family. She seems also to be one of the more religious members of the family, constantly seen receiving ministers and priests. She is beginning to show the seeming genetic obesity of the family.

Antonio Giuseppe: The youngest child, Antonio relishes the underside of the family business. He frequently attends to personal matters requiring a bit of violent attention, and is the member of the central family most often seen out-and-about in the city proper.
